Unconventional Films an independent film and television production company
Unconventional Films, LLC is a California Limited Liability Corporation operating in Orange and San Diego Counties.
The two founding filmmakers, Neil Trusso and Vernon Mortensen, met when they were both assigned to the same US Navy SEAL Platton that deployed to the war- torn African nation of Somailia in 1994.
After the military, Neil and Vernon both attended film school and eventually founded Unconventional Films. UF's client list includes Hewlett Packard, the Fullerton Music Festival, the law firm of Stradling, Yocca, Carlson & Rauth and many more. In addition to their corporate projects, Unconventional Films has produced one feature film, seven short films and several music videos.
