Synopsis... A militaristic spaceship crew crash lands on a strange desert planet. As the desperation of their predicament sets in, their discipline and friendships are tested.
The Scoop... It's a bad movie, and we know it! Inspired by campy, sci-fi and horror movies from the 60's and 70's, Blood Planet is a grindhouse short film that's a whole lot of fun. Writer/director Vernon Mortensen purposefully used bad lighting and odd camera angles to recreate the look and feel of a bad "B" movie. Producer Neil Trusso took this movie to the 2007 SoCal Cinema Slam.
